Celebrate Independence Day Weekend at Burrell School

by Laura Ness - @hervineness on June 27, 2011

SchoolHouseIt’s time to celebrate the official holiday of Red, White and Blue at Burrell School’s historic red schoolhouse on the hill, where Old Glory looks brilliant against a sapphire sky on a summer’s day in July!

Burrell School is open the entire Fourth of July weekend, including Monday, July 4th! Come up to the old schoolhouse and salute our beautiful flag as you sip some Red (Old School Cab), White (”Teacher’s Pet” Chardonnay) and Blue (”Schoolyard” Petite Sirah)! Mix and match and take home a very patriotic case!

It takes some effort to get that flag hoisted! Diablo GrandeForklifts rule!

Barrel tasting and Futures sales begin for Library Reserve Club (LRC) and Double Sippers on July 2nd and 3rd, so come on up and taste the latest treasures about to be bottled in August.

Barrel tasting and Futures sales for Sipper Club members starts July 4th and continues on remaining July weekends. Don’t be tardy for the party!

Head Mistress Anne says, “This is the most affordable way to stock your cellar with Burrell School wines!!” And you can salute that sentiment.

It’s also the 12ist birthday of the Old Red Schoolhouse this 4th! Come celebrate this historic occasion.

CakeBurrell School Vineyards & Winery is at 24060 Summit Road, just off the Summit Road exit of Highway 17. Come celebrate our nation’s birthday in style.
