The Summit to Sea wineries are open all three days to celebrate the Labor Day holiday:

Hunter Hill is open Sat/Sun, but closed on Monday.

Burrell School is offering their lush Chardonnay for $20 per bottle.  Stock up for the Indian summer ahead!
Hunter Hill has 2007 Rock ‘n’ Rhone and 2006 Estate Merlot on sale for $10.00 per bottle. Chef Sid is cooking both days and will  serving up tri-tip, beans and bread for $10.00, $5.00 for wine tasting.
Loma Prieta is offering the 08 Saveria Pinot (reg $50) on sale for $45, and the 07 Cab (reg $50) on sale for $45.
Poetic Cellars has summer-fresh Chardonnay and Viognier, two for $40, plus small plates of delicious pates and cured meats for pairing, $5 per plate.

Roamin’ the Rhones on the Backroads, Aug 21 & 22

The Summit to Sea Wineries, Burrell School, Hunter Hill. Loma Prieta, Poetic Cellars and Vine Hill Winery, are all celebrating the food-friendliness of Rhone wines with a “Roamin’ the Rhones” event, Saturday and Sunday, August 21 and 22nd during normal tasting room hours.
Taste a signature Rhone wine at each winery paired with specially selected cheeses and cured meats, the perfect pairing for these wines that are made for serious food. Tasting fees apply at each winery, and most are refundable with the purchase of wine. Specially prepared gourmet food plates to pair with the Rhone wines will be available for $5 each winery.

Chef Bobby Cooks Up Some Fun at California Cafe, July 10

Poetic Cellars will be the featured winery at Chef Bobby’s Cooking Demos on Saturday, July 10, at California Cafe in Los Gatos at noon and 3pm for 2nd Saturdays in Los Gatos. These cooking demos are free, fun and informative. And did we mention delicious?
Indulge in some mighty tasty Steak Tartare along with Poetic Cellars Ballad Bordeaux Blend at noon, and then spice things up with Chef Bobby’s roasted red pepper hummus with Poetic Cellars Syrah at 3pm. Zest-o-rama!
Come on by California Cafe Los Gatos for this special opportunity to “meet the chef in action!”
