Tasting & Barrel Burning Open House
The 2009 wines are starting to settle into their barrel aging and some
are ready to take a first look at this potentially very good vintage,
and some of the 2008s are approaching that time when they will be ready
to bottle. We will select four different barrels that will give you a
taste of what is to come and pour tastes of several finished wines that
are presently available including the 2007 Santa Cruz/Monterey Syrah,
the 2007 Bald Mountain Pinot Noir (only a few cases remain), and the
2007 Fairview Road Ranch Sryah. In celebration of this special tasting,
we will burn a couple of old barrels – an entertaining and beautiful
sight. And please, use
